Absolutely. We provide Enteral formula and feeding pumps, wheel chairs, bedside commodes, walkers, canes, diabetic supplies (e.g. shoes), back supports, wound care products, bathroom safety equipment and a number of other equipment items to fit your needs. Does Carvajal pharmacy compound prescription medications specific for me?
Yes. For the past 30 years we have been the premier provider for compound prescription medications in the San Antonio area. We compound various prescriptions to meet your needs including pediatric compounds, women’s hormone replacement, topical gels for anxiety, pain and comfort, vet compounds. We will work directly with your physician to ensure you get the prescribed medication in the form that is best for you to consume.
Can I transfer my medications from a different pharmacy and have them filled at Carvajal Pharmacy?
Yes, you may call us directly at (210) 922-2176 , and we will take care of the rest.
I have diabetes, do you have supplies, equipment, and medical personnel that can help me control my blood sugar?
Yes. We have special shoes to help your blood circulation, glucose monitors and test strips, fast acting glucose tablets, insulin syringes, insulin pins and various other diabetic supplies. Further, in most cases your insurance will cover some of the cost for these items and we will take care of submitting this claim to your insurance/Medicare for you.
Can Carvajal Pharmacy special order Nutritional and Specialty products?
Absolutely. We have access to the major manufacturers and wholesalers. We will go the extra mile to ensure your needs and the doctor’s desires are met with care and precision.
Does Carvajal Pharmacy provide service to Hospice patients?
Yes. We have a specialty pharmacy Carvajal Pharmacy CS where we focus our efforts completely towards hospice patients.
I am bound to a wheel chair, are you handicap accessible?
Yes, our storefront at 3410 Roosevelt is handicap accessible with ramps and designated parking. We will also provide delivery for you via mail or courier.
I am confused about my Medicare Part D insurance, can you help me understand?
Yes we can. We have trained staff to help you find the best Medicare plan for each individual. We will not choose a plan for you, but will explain the costs and benefits associated with each plan to allow you to make an informed decision.
